Light's Existence
Within Shadowy Depth
I traverse across a ravine both airless and bottomless
The way before is the same behind
I am Golden Light made from Dawn and Dusk
I glow all the day long
Standing there near the shore
I am the horizon,
The beginning and the ending
My Presence heralds great changes
Silence has become my constant companion
The wind kisses my lips,
A feather touch
While Thunder races across the heavens
I am no longer there
I hear echoes of fear
For there is no one to hear
I am still, in the moment
Yet, I am alone
Unknown, unseen
Feel the agony,
Feel the sorrow
That burrows
within the sands
as time passes by
The Land is in sorrow
Crying out for the unjust
Crying out for its children
The enemy is in delight
For it can feel the twilight
As Day’s End is about to Dawn
No longer am I of the world
No longer am I of the flesh
I am free of the leash
I have abandoned the delights
Deep within I do stir
I hear the cries
As many try to break free
I listen to them ponder
With many words
They have forgotten the way
Have we come too late?
I am here and there is no one
Beneath the sheltering branches of the Tree
The path is long
Far out, far away into the lighted Darkness
I see the masses and weep
As they pass by the Lighted Lantern
I stand and wait,
There upon my mountain
Bright as a beacon
Ready for one to come my way
The Path is no longer clear
Halt near the entrance if you dare
Take a moment to care
Deep within the depths of the heart
An answer lies awaiting
A moment's enlightenment
